This position is part of a major Belgian group, currently optimizing its internal financial structure. Within its largest business unit there is a need for a dedicated Finance Business Partner.

Over onze klant

The unit includes around +80 salespeople across local, national, and regional markets, as well as a large back-office team. The company is seeking a strong finance voice to bridge the gap between operations and leadership, supporting better business decisions and financial discipline.

This newly designed role blends hands-on financial support with strategic partnership. It will serve as a financial advisor to the department director and work closely with both commercial and support teams.

Functie

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to act as the key financial contact for the division, supporting both operational efficiency and strategic growth.

  • Partner with the Director to provide financial insight
  • Monitor and optimize the financial performance of small entities linked to the division (e.g., cash flow, profitability, and margins).
  • Co-manage the reporting and controlling responsibilities related to the commercial back office.
  • Collaborate with the support team to automate and streamline current financial reporting processes.
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting to management and offer actionable financial recommendations.
  • Serve as a proactive financial liaison between sales teams, leadership, and internal stakeholders.

Profiel

We are seeking a talented finance professional ready to grow into a strategic role that combines financial oversight with operational influence.

  • 2-6 years of experience in controlling or financial analysis
  • Solid foundation in cost control and business partnering, ideally in a commercial or media-related environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to challenge, advise, and support senior leadership.
  • Fluent in French and comfortable working in English.
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance teams.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and eager to expand scope of responsibilities.
  • Digital or advertising sector experience is a strong asset.
  • Capable of balancing day-to-day reporting with higher-level business partnering.
