Our client is an industrial company.

Job Description

  • General Ledger Management: Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Manage and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with local GAAP (Belgian GAAP) and IFRS.
  • Statutory Reporting: Manage the preparation and submission of statutory reports and filings as required by Belgian law.
  • Liaison with Auditors: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during audits.
  • Management of the accounting team: Manage a team of three accountants.
  • Coordination with a shared service center in India.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience as a Chief Accountant within a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
  • Professional level in French and English.
