Job Description

Process Safety Engineer - Antwerp - Maritime Solutions

  • As a Process Safety Engineer you act as the bridge between HSEQ/Process Safety design and operational safety, translating technical safety studies and risk assessments into practical and effective measures for both onshore and offshore teams.
  • You coordinate, evaluate, and translate HSEQ design studies and risk assessments into concrete solutions for new and modified gas assets.
  • You will translate third-party consultant reports into actionable recommendations for project teams.
  • Challenges: You operate in a stand-alone position, reporting directly to the Project Manager. This is a diverse and high-responsibility role, combining technical expertise with strong communication skills.

The Successful Applicant

Process Safety Engineer - Antwerp - Maritime Solutions

  • You have a Technical Master's degree.
  • You can rely on at least 5 years of experience in a relevant sector, maritime or gasses.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, SIL.
  • Experience with isolation schemes, audits, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
  • Travel: 20%
  • Languages: English is a must
