As part of a close-knit, multicultural team, you'll help negotiate with global brands to deliver value at scale.Job DescriptionAs part of the Legal Team and reporting to the Legal Director, the Senior Legal Counsel will be in charge of:Commercial contracts/contract managementManaging the international commercial contracts of our Client: drafting, alignment with shareholders, negotiation lead in front of suppliers, follow-up of the contracts performance, etc.,Support our Client's commercial teams in their negotiation activities and exchanges with suppliers: compliance with competition law in commercial negotiations, regular training sessions to sensibilize commercial teams to main legal topics, day-to-day support for the performance of the contractsInternal reporting of contracts negotiation and anticipation of contractual risks: within the legal department, to the commercial teams, to the management team, to the legal teams of the shareholdersPreparation of the yearly contract templatesOther contracts: according our Client's needs, review of contracts with third parties (external providers, clients, etc.)Litigation follow-upCorporate governance: with the support of external counsels, supporting corporate matters such as minutes of internal committees, follow-up of the yearly general assembly, delegations, etc.Other legal support and tasks as punctually requested by the direct manager or the management teamParticipate to the monitoring of the Belgian and European business and competition lawsTransversal mission: co-management of specific projects / activities (team trainings, legal tools developments, etc.)The Successful ApplicantThe candidate should:Have a Belgian Master degree in LawWith a specialization and/or experience either in international commercial contracts negotiation, or in contracts managementDemonstrate at least 5 years of successful experience in a company or law firmHave a professional command of English (working language).
