Job Description



  • You will focus on the study of specific matters related to fire and theft insurance and, more broadly, non-life insurance (BOAR) and the related legislation.


  • Within these areas of expertise, you identify trends and pinpoint themes that may be relevant to the insurance sector.


  • You coordinate various advisory meetings with insurance companies.


  • You develop industry positions in consultation with various departments and management teams.


  • You provide advice to optimally defend the sector's interests.


  • You act as a representative and ambassador in various consultation and decision-making bodies.


  • You support the communications department with specific questions regarding fire and theft insurance.


  • You build a network of contacts within the insurance sector.



The Successful Applicant



  • A Belgian university degree, ideally in Law


  • Familiar with the legal aspects of fire and theft insurance


  • Proven experience in the insurance sector and in non-life insurance (fire, theft)


  • Solid knowledge of the second national language and a good command of English


  • A quick learner who continuously seeks to grow


  • Strong analytical skills


  • Open-minded and skilled in mediation


  • Customer-oriented


  • Excellent writing skills
